how to train exploit operation system windows xp....

in this essay, I try to explain about step that we have to do train exploit windows xp in virtual box :

the preparation step :

- running sistem operation linux pharrot

- running virtual box application and run windows xp inside

1. make sure the network between linux and windows xp are connected

a. open windows xp, click “start” choose “run”

b. at the blank table type “cmd”

c. at command prompt table, type ipconfig

d. will appear ip address of the windows xp

e. go to linux system operation, click “terminal”

f. at blank command terminal linux, type “ifconfig” to know our ip address in linux

g. if 3 part before dot in both of ip address is same, it means we and the windows xp in one network

h. to make it sure, test the network connection with ping, type “ping (ip address windows xp)” in linux command

I. if it run, it sure in same network.

2. install nessus application tools to scanning information

a. copy file nessus in our computer

b. if that extention file is not .deb, rename the file using .deb at last file name

c. install the application, type “dpkg -i (file name).deb”

d. start nessus by typing /etc/init.d/nessusd start

e. then go to https://parrot:8834/ to configure your scanner
