TOR is meaning The Onion Rooter, it work to hiding the identity of attacker or hacker by passisng more free network or router in the world and would change by sec. it will make the target hard to find the attacker, because the data of attacker had been lost.
VPN is Virtual Public Network, we can use the public network in the world to execute target. if we know the number of VPN, xe can configurate and be a router of server. we can do anything as a server. if the target want to search or find the attacker,  that will be bring them to the server that we had done.
VPS is Virtual Public Server, is the same  of VPN, the different is media that used. VPN use the network and to use it need the number of VPN, but the VPS need a server to attack the target, we can rent or by server at other place to foool the target that who are ther in behind.

 you can get install the tor in you computer
apt-get install tor

after you was download, starting with command
/etc/init.d/tor start

you can use proxy in your web browser, and tor work in terminal with type 
proxychain (command)
